Restoration and Conservation

Regretfully, over the years many magnificent clocks fall into disrepair through lack of maintenance or neglect.

By using the original materials and techniques in the restoration or repair of the dial, mechanism, and bells, we ensure that these clocks are returned to their original condition whilst retaining their full historical integrity and value.

Missing or badly damaged clock features can be accurately recreated using old photographs, drawings, or descriptions, and where winding or regulation have become a problem we can automate these without damage to the clock.

Our role is that of a temporary custodian working to ensure that yesterdays heritage is available for future generations to appreciate and enjoy.
